Just a quick solo Star Realms game against the Nemesis Beast. Very close outcome, the beast killed me, but I had enough on my hand to take it out had I just had one more turn. It was down at six, I at 1 with 9 out in bases, it flipped a blob card, took out one base, blew up the other with it’s 11 attack and the rest went straight to me. Dang.

Sadly forgot to take a snap of the finishing round in Night of Man, but we’ll, since I eradicated the Killer, it wasn’t that interesting anyway to look at. Night if Man is fun, a quite streamlined system that has very quick impulses for each player. It was just a left-hand-vs-right-hand game, but looks promising. I will play again, I am sure – probably next time with the solo mode.
Night of Man happened. Nettes SciFi Brettspiel mit interessantem Solomode (der aber heute noch nicht zum Einsatz kam). Leider etwas "löchriges" Regelheft, man muss sich manches zusammenreimen, aber sowas bin ich von wargames gewöhnt (leider macht nicht jeder Hersteller so gründliche Spieleentwicklung wie VPG). The GDR went bankrupt in the fourth round. Dang. Thwarted! Even though I tried everything to put pressure on the FRG, but they got to wreck my whole economy in the end of round three and therefore destroyed all my living standard and I couldn’t get back from that desaster. A really mean game, sometimes. But tons of fun to play!
Autsch, ich muss unbedingt an meiner Strategie für die DDR arbeiten, Juliana hat mich in Runde 3 wirtschaftlich zerstört und ich konnte mich davon in Runde 4 nicht mehr erholen und ging bankrott. The GDR went bankrupt in the fourth round. Dang. Thwarted! Even though I tried everything to put pressure on the FRG, but they got to wreck my whole economy in the end of round three and therefore destroyed all my living standard and I couldn’t get back from that desaster. A really mean game, sometimes. But tons of fun to play!

Tried trial 8 in Hoplomachus Origins. first run was a debacle, I got exterminate. Changed up my Team and the winning combo was mostly based on the Centurion and a bunch of fatties (pompeian guards and retainer, but defender instead of the guards should work, too) and the hamstring tactic to block out Modula and the adrenalin tactic to speed up my centurion. That one went fine, but the dice were with me, especially in the final round where I
