yeah, I think it is more something for exhume decks than pure TE decks. With exhume it looks to be boss, since when you get it out early, the opponent might not even have a qualifying blocker for two or three more turns. The plays from /u/kungfutrees l…

/u/bboomslang on We’ve launched the One Deck Dungeon: Forest of Shadows expansion on Kickstarter!

Sorry, mare, in a time where allmost every KS does present a solution, your stance just makes you look bad. VAT is not something “customers have to solve with their government” – that is just polemic bullshit. VAT is something a company that wants to sell internationally have to handle. You can handle it in a graceful way or you can slap potential customers. One way gets you additional backers, the other way doesn’t. Simple as that.

Oh man, I would so go for Izzet Staticaster for my Murasa Tron deck (flash allows me to find it with Teachings).

/u/bboomslang on Favorite 2-player asymmetric games?

Wir sind das Volk would be my suggestion, too. Great CDG feel, but still euro-y enough to get people in more easily. Really fun game with lots of interesting decisions with each card. Still haven’t won with the east against my wife playing the west. Dang.

/u/bboomslang on Are Dinrova Tron variants better or just different?

Hmm, Crop Rotation, Expedition Map and especially Forbidden Alchemy should help getting threshold, especially running some more Moment’s Peace to keep stompy at bay. One of the things that got on my nerves with my plays of Murasa Tron was the inconsistency of achieving tron. I know and understand that Murasa is more of a controlly deck that doesn’t need to assemble tron as quickly as other tron decks, but still it felt clunky in that regard. Which is why I added some Crop Rotation and shifted it a bit more towards green stuff (especially since that allows me to run Sprout Swarm as another wincon or board clogger that can be tutored with Mystical Teachings). No idea if that means it still is Murasa Tron, though 😉

Yeah, I am wondering if throwing some Swirling Sandstorm into Murasa Tron together with some fogs might not be a better way to handle stompy, as you can just fog them until you get your board wipe and from that position just get a grip of the game.

/u/bboomslang on Balanced decks that are fun to play for both beginners and experienced players.

I find Kuldotha Boros vs. UR Snow Delver a really fun and quite balanced matchup. I’m playing this with a colleague of mine every now and then and we both feel like we have a good chance at winning all through, and both decks have great lines of play. And both decks feel like they are a good way to grow with the game, as you gain experience. Both have some simpler plans to execute and both can have some super-turns and traps to put out for the opponent. And more important to me and my colleague: both decks lack the distinct “unfun” aspect some other decks (I look at you, Bogles, and my colleague probably is looking at my Dimir Creatureless Control 😉 ) have.

Related Item: iOS Board Games Woah, didn’t see that coming, for a kinda older title in some niche genre. Definitely an auto buy for me, since I never find opponents around my home for RftG.

/u/bboomslang on Ideas for delver

That was my finding, too, and the reason I was interested in your UR version. The thing with mono-u-Delver is that you just need to take care of stuff before it hits the board and so you often falter if opponents can get more than one problematic threat out in a turn, because you never have enough counter. Handling threats after they hit the table is damn hard, since it is usually snag/snap+counter, but then the opponent often had two threats in hand, so I countered one, but the other still hit the board. UR handles this much better. I don’t get the dreading feel when I see two kor skyfisher on the board any more 😉

/u/bboomslang on Pauper UR Delver League #2

I guess it’s more about keeping the opponent honest than actually getting full value of it. You will play it every now and then, so your opponent will have to take it into account. And in a dire situation, it might just be the thing you need to survive.

/u/bboomslang on Whats your favorite play that never gets old?

Daze when tapped out. Nothing really beats it, aside from maybe Force of Will, but that one is not legal in Pauper, which is mostly the format I play nowadays. But in general, any of the no-mana-required spells (like for example playing snuff out on a …
